Seungmin’s hands felt clammy as he surveyed his reflection once again in the rearview mirror, so there was really no point in denying he was nervous. This was finally happening, he thought to himself, and he hated the fact that he couldn’t even keep his heart rate down. Sure, he and Harim had spent time together alone before, but this was different. He had actually finally asked her to go on a date. It may have taken him a few years to finally gather the nerve, but he finally asked. Seungmin felt a little unprepared, despite having picked an outfit a few days ahead, and calling the restaurant twice that day to confirm his reservation. It had been a while since he’d been on a proper date, and if he was being honest, he wasn’t sure he knew exactly what to do. His studies and internship kept him busy enough, and Daeun’s homecoming and making sure their dad and his mom didn’t give her too much of a hard time made him even busier. Seungmin didn’t even have the time to consider to go on a date with anyone, but he didn’t really mind. Until Harim, of course. As if conjuring her out of his thoughts, he saw her step out of the building, and he quickly got out of his car to meet her. He stuffed his hands inside his pants pockets in an attempt to hide his already sweaty hands. “Hey,” he greeted, the sides of his lips tugging upwards in a smile. “I hope you’re in the mood for sushi.”
