So definitely something was going on, and Topher felt like it was heavier than usual. They hugged their jacket closer and bit their lip as they moved over the carnival area. They had about fifteen dollars to spend on nice things to do today, but they felt too on edge to enjoy themselves. They held their head low as they walked, when they saw a familiar face, familiar in face, not in expression, that one scared them a little. They walked up to him nonetheless, if anything Topher was extremely intent on walking into danger.
