Sav had foolishly been hoping that maybe only one or two people had heard about the pregnancy rumors. Her plan was really just to act completely normal, because if she acted weird and other people had heard, it would essentially be a confirmation. And that’s what she was doing when she was sitting outside in the courtyard, trying to gauge if, like, people were looking at her weirdly, when she saw Dawn approaching, giving the girl a friendly wave and sliding over so she could sit down next to her. “Hey. Enjoying the new campus?” Sav asked, when she was within earshot, doing her best to keep a normal smile on her face.

“Okay how much are you going to pay me to sing High School Musical with you, because there’s going to have to be some sort of fee, that or you get me very drunk to be your Troy-... or would you want me to be Gabriella.”

“Just so you know, if I fall off here then there are going to be a lot of people upset at the fact that I’m gone whilst still in my prime of time.” Cedric commented, handing the bottle of whiskey over to the other. “Why must we watch the sunset on the roof again?”

Sav was herding the children she was stuck supervising to grab their lunch, annoyance obvious on her face. They were making their way back from the tennis courts when they came across a group of boxing kids, Savannah immediately grabbing Dawn’s arms when she walked by. “I’m begging you, can we join forces to entertain them during lunch? Josh dipped again,” not that she should complain, the two of them were honestly the most lackadaisical pair of counselors there were, and she had shirked duties plenty so far as well, “and I cannot be alone with them right now. I will owe you one majorly.”

😷- one of our muses is sick

“It’s fine, I’m fine- I don’t get sick.” Danny told the other, though he didn’t feel great. His stomach churned and his head felt dizzy, he didn’t get sick though, he wasn’t even sure if it was possible. If it was- then well, he should curse his mother for installing that in him. “I’ll be fine, I should know a spell or something to help.”

The bell over the door was still ringing as Peri dashed to the children's section, and Winnie found herself forced to choose between following her daughter and tidying up the collection of postcard prints and magnets the girl had somehow managed to knock over in her enthusiasm.

It was good that it was a high-energy day. High energy days were improvement. If Win repeated herself often enough, and hard enough, it would sink in and she wouldn't even mind cleaning up in the wake of a four foot high tornado in tulle. As she straightened the last of the knickknacks, she straightened, grimacing apologetically at the woman behind the counter. "Nothing broken or damaged, I promise, sorry about that. She's... well, eight. We're working on it. I'm confident this condition won't last the year."

Looking at the woman again, Winnie squinted in contemplation, "I think we've met? You helped us find the most depressing Dear America books, D- um, Dawn? Dawn, yes." From the corner of her eye she saw Peri flounce into a beanbag chair with an oversized book, and took the opportunity to relax a bit. Peri did the least damage when sitting.
