Suraj sat down opposite of Joseph with an awkward smile on their face, they were pretty sure they smelled like fries and oil and hamburgers, wondering what else they had touched over the past hours that might generate the idea that they worked in a fast food restaurant - which they did, but that wasn’t the point. “Hi,” they said, trying to hide how apologetic they felt. Which they shouldn’t. This was about their movie, which they wanted to make… then why did they feel like they should apologise for it. “Did you get anything to drink already? Else I can go to the back and get you something.”

“You know I have to say I’m a little disappointed.” Casey commented from where she found the other sitting at a table by himself in the cafe, “I think this is the first time that I’ve seen you doing something, normal and not video worthy.” She sighed, sitting down opposite him. “How are you supposed to become a viral star if you don’t keep up appearances.”

Rose sat alone at the bar of 21st Amendment, twirling the straw in her cup of cola. She used to be a bit of a regular here before. Always laughing and joking and flirting. She even hooked up once here . She used to come here at first with Winnie and then with Teddy after his relapse. Now she was sitting alone, recovery from a bad relapse, her relationship on shaky ground and with no friends. As she heard movement, Rose finally lifted her head, noticing how empty the place was. “Oh...I’m sorry. Are you about to close?”// @josephxbiggs
