Plot: Ash went to a wedding of a mutual friend knowing full well your muse would be there. Only went to win them back and be the one that takes them home at the end of the night. Open to M/F/NB

Ash watched them from across the hall, he hadn’t had the balls to cross the dance floor yet. But as he looked at them, he had to admit they were looking damn fine. It was a shame that they were standing alone but he finally grew the nerve to cross the dance floor to them. “Care to dance?” Ash hadn’t come for the wedding, no he was still in love with the other and intended on telling them so. But for now he extended a hand and at least figured on the dance floor they could talk.

“That’s a good idea.“ Sometimes Camila could be the worst at giving advice. Logically most people with enough common sense would reject her suggestion and not even think about saying it jokingly, but Camila was dead serious. “Uhh…. I don’t know. Like… Shit. I don’t think I’ve heard of circuses that aren’t cirque du solwhatever.” She hummed, thinking. “We could try to find one. I wanna be an ocelot tamer.”

“Thank you. So few people acknowledge my good ideas anymore,” he told her, eyes getting a little heavy from the pot. “You know, I don’t even know what an ocelot is.” His eyes got thinner while he thought, as though he could guess if he only willed it hard enough. Still, he had no idea, but he only shrugged. “I’m sure I’ll figure it out. What do you think I’d be good at? I could do trapeze. I mean, I’m very bendy and have little consideration for my own life. What else would there be?”

Instead of spending the night out like he planned, it turned out to be bringing her back to his place all because his toddler got sick and the babysitter had called him halfway through dinner. Ash came out of the bedroom and closed the door behind him finally getting his son to sleep as he gave her an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry our night got cut short. I would have called my mother to watch him, but it didn’t really feel right leaving him if he didn’t feel good...” Ash hadn’t really had a choice, his son came first it however did put a crimp on his dating life.

When Ash found out what was going on with the girl who had rolled into town a little while ago his heart broke. No one should of had to go through that. “Stay, please. I’ll keep you safe, I mean how safer can you get then with a cop?” Ash wondered, but now understood why she had been so hesitant at first, being in a marriage where her husband was a dick. “I... I love you... Just stay and I’ll make sure you’re safe. He won’t come back to hurt you. I don’t even care that you’re technically married.” Ash would do what he could to separate them.

Ash thought that for one night he’d be able to get his daughter down and she’d be able to stay asleep. But as he heard music drifting down from the floor above them he groaned. Not this shit again. Whoever was above him was driving him up a wall. He kissed his daughters head goodnight and climbed the steps as he found the apartment directly above his and began to knock. When no one came but the music continued he knocked a little bit louder, or more so pounded on her door in order to get her to open it up. “Look, some of us can be up all night but other’s have kids would you....” Ash was not expecting the blonde to answer the door. “Keep it down..” He said softer this time. @a-museing-rps​

Ash was working the streets, he had a tip that a guy was escorting girls in order to cover up one of the largest sex trafficking rings going in the state. He wanted nothing more than to bring the sick bastard down. He pulled up to where his contact (a bite unwilling contact) was meant to be. “Hey, I need a girl for tonight. Think I can hire you out?” Ash used her for two fold, one to get her out of working for some prick for the night and another so he could get information out of her when she had some. He held up the hundred dollar bills he pulled from his pocket. “Go tell your pimp daddy over there that you’re booked for the night and lets get the hell out of there.” He made sure he didn’t look the other male at all not wanting him to know that Ash was watching the man or that a camera in his pocket was recording the guys every move.

The first time he wandered into the club he was lonely, his ex had just left him and made him a single father. The second time he wandered in it was a sting he was watching a dude, but after that it became habit. A place of escape, he didn’t have time for relationships he told himself, afraid of getting hurt again. Instead the closet he got was with a stripper, he wasn’t even sure if he knew he real name but either way he didn’t care it was the closet he got to some semblance of something that got his engines revving again. Finding his table he smiled over at the pretty girl who waited on him. “Just a jack neat please.” His drinks sometimes varied but it was often a whiskey or bourbon. He didn’t vary that much. Ash remained responsible, he only came on tuesday nights claimed he worked late, but he figured his mother was suspecting that Ash was up to something. “Rough night? or a calm one?” He questioned when she finally joined his side again.
