pda wasn’t necessarily something that jade was a fan of. while she wasn’t ashamed of her relationship, she just liked to keep most of her affectionate encounters with her girlfriend behind closed doors. things changed though, especially after a couple of glasses of wine and having almost lost her girlfriend just months before. everything seemed to be going well and jade’s family had seemingly taken the other under their wing. jade was tugging her girlfriend along with a smile on her face when she stopped under the mistletoe and cupped her face, “it’s tradition. we can’t ignore it.” she cooed.

living together was everything jade wanted with nora and after their disagreement, things seemed to be looking up for the two of them. she was truly happy with her. the two were in bed and jade was asleep, that was until she heard someone come through her front door. she sat up, realizing the girl she was in love with was right next to her and no one else had access to her place, not even her family so she immediately knew this wasn’t good. “nora,” she nudged her away in a panicked manner, “get up. i need you to hide. now.” she demanded as she slipped out of bed and grabbed the gun in her bedside table. her family wasn’t exactly loved and she hated nora had to find out this way. she went to the door, locking it and leaning against it but depending who was on the other side, her small frame was nothing compared to how big they could be. she would do anything to protect her girlfriend though and she was going to show her that.
