marriage wasn’t something he thought was in the cards for him but more recently, the thought of settling down had been on his mind a lot lately. maybe it was because he really loved her or maybe it was because with the amount of children he saw on a daily basis, he craved a family. he wasn’t really sure but what he did know is that he was going for it. as his girlfriend turned to grab herself another drink, he knelt down behind her, his brown eyes peering up at her when she turned back around. “i love you.” he started, the box in his hand opened and showing off the ring, “and i know i want to spend the rest of my life with you...”

liam didn't spend time with anyone outside of work except for a few friends here and there. he was at an age where his family lived in a different country and his friends were busy with their own families, which was something he thought he would have by now. things just didn't work out that way and so, as he was finishing up for the evening, right before a week break for the holidays, he noticed mia still moving around the doctor's office. he stuck his head outside the door, "what are you still doing here?" he asked softly, "aren't you ready to get out of here and spend some time with your family?" he knew she could ask him the same but pretty much everyone else had left the moment the office finished with patients. "i mean, is there anything i can help you finish up?"

liam wasn't exactly stoked to hear his wife stumbling inside of their shared home. he knew that he wasn't the guy she wanted to be with and that she'd more than likely prefer to choose who she married but unfortunately, that's not how things went between the two of them. their parents forced them together and all he could do was attempt to get along with her to make his life easier. though, it wasn't that hard when she spent the majority of her time out getting drunk. sighing as he pushed himself up from his desk, he walked out to check on the woman. "hey," he cleared his throat, "you alright?" he asked as he shifted toward her.

liam was anything but a homewrecker and when the two of them ended things, he didn't think that he was ever going to hear from her again. so, he was surprised when he got the invitation in the mail with her handwritten message on the back. he debated for weeks on whether or not to go, whether it was a good idea to interrupt the wedding and maybe he should've said something before but really, his decision to come and to approach her over the whole ordeal was admittedly pretty last minute. he'd just gotten off a shift, showered, changed, and headed over to face the woman he was still very much in love with. when he got there, he went to the suite where he assumed she would be getting ready and knocked. "hey, it's liam," he started, clearing his throat. "can we talk?"

the last thing liam expected was to fall in love with his father's assistant. he didn't know at what point it happened but he did know that he always managed to find his way to his dad's office at some point during his day. it was usually around lunch time or sometimes he'd even stop by before work to bring her a coffee. one way or another, he tried to see her every day. today was no different and as he came in and saw her at her desk, he bee lined straight for the woman. "when are you going to let me take you out?" despite everything he did to capture her attention, the two had yet to go on a date. "is there something holding you back? is it my hair?" he joked, a smile playing on his lips. he tried to keep the conversation light in the work setting but he did want to take things further, especially since he'd already gotten to know her throughout his visits to his father and he was more than interested in her.

there were times like these where liam would often find himself standing too close to the other when the two were supposed to be acting as though their relationship was strictly professional. sometimes he could make it the entire day and other times, liam couldn’t help but pull pinar into his office and steal a kiss of two. today was one of those days. they’d gotten through the list of patients for the day and he was finishing up some paperwork when he called her into his office. “close the door.” he mouthed once she came in and then pushed his office chair back, motioning for her to come closer. once she did, he wrapped his arms around her, “i’ve been thinking about kissing you all day.”

there weren’t a lot of people that really stopped by his home. he spent most days alone but there were a couple of people that checked in on him. he was working, his headphones on as he worked on whatever cheesy romance film was sent his way. he was making a trailer for it, trying to make it seem as original as possible. it was hard nowadays, he felt like. everything had already been done and now everyone was just trying to make their own versions of things. he was focused, for the most part, until he felt a hand on his shoulder. he jumped and snatched his headphones off before turning around. his eyes met with frankie’s and he held a hand over his chest, a chuckle leaving his lips. “jesus, frankie...” he shook his head. “i didn’t even hear you come in....or ring the doorbell. i guess i was just so into this trailer.” he lifted his shoulders up in a shrug. “you know, one day, i’m going to be turning one of your movies into a trailer. have you gone to any recent auditions? i could probably ask around and see what’s going on, if you want.”

The trip so far had gone to plan, he had flown her along with his sister and some of their friends to Morocco for the weekend. To a friends villa. He figured it’d be out of his mother’s prying eye’s he’d finally be able to get her to relax enough to fall for his charms. So when his phone lit up, he wondered if he could get her into his bed. They had been talking a while, and he was very much into her, the prince simply couldn’t stop thinking about her, hence the little trip away from home. Reading the message he smirked. He could only hope the night was young and that he could tempt her to cross the hallway and finally give into a night with him. So he typed back his response...  [Liam]: You know the nights not over yet, in some places it has just begun...
