@clantaught // LIVE ! GROW ! I LOOKED AT YOU AND I SAW YOU WERE ENOUGH.
‘ careful with that ! ’ hera calls, one hand extended, fingers half curled, half reaching for sabine. it's not concern for the package in question as the girl wobbles under the weight ––– it's concern for the mandalorian. if it drops, it can be replaced; if it falls on sabine . . . she doesn't draw breath until sabine's safely set the damn thing back on the ground, and it almost surprises her, the CONCERN. not that she’s not usually concerned for her kids, just that it’s been happening more often than not, as of late. her heart’s taken up residence inside of her throat, since they expanded their horizons, since SHE opened their eyes to the cause they’ve been serving all along. there is a measure of guilt to this concern. a measure of if something happens to this daughter of mine, it will be my fault. ( funny how joining a large scale rebellion changes your world view so quickly. funny how petty old squabbles and concerns seem in the wake of a war brewing in the current of the stars. arguing with sabine happens nearly every other week, but it always feels a hundred million yards away, whenever she gets scared, even just a little bit. and they thought she was the STRONG one. ) a sigh of relief escapes her, and with it, a rush of EMBARRASSMENT. the package wasn’t even explosive. ‘ you alright, starbird ? ’
