It's funny, so...
I happened to be reading ICE's official government webpage, where they state that local law enforcement who want to partner up with ICE have to request and then sign a letter of agreement.
But you know what else is funny?
The website says that:
"LEAs interested in becoming a law enforcement partner under the 287(g) Program must submit a signed Letter of Interest and signed MOA to ICE at [email protected]."
And also that:
"If you have any questions about participating in the ICE 287(g) program, how to complete the necessary forms, what is required, or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to email [email protected]; your inquiry will be promptly answered within one business day."
And so I was thinking...
Wouldn't it be such a shame if ICE's email were rendered totally unusable due to the volume of completely earnest, innocent questions flooding their mailbox? I sure hope nobody decides to spam [email protected] with miscellaneous emails.
