some kind of very hearty meat dish that sits like a boulder in the stomach. challenge eating. to see if you can do it every year. we do candles per year, they do ribs. could work with drinks too. or maybe theres a kind of traditional hunt, they go out and subdue something and everyone partakes in eating the kill ("the old man's still got it!") or ("she's learning fast, such a large kill at such a young age!"). feat of strength worthy of celebration

i think youre right. meatball or buffalo chicken or their cheesesteak, MAYBE spicy italian. in that order. i imagine their chicken is too lean for him and that he might not be too big on sandwiches since the bread 'gets in the way'. but when he goes he just loads it up with as much meat as they let him, all peppers plus pepperoncinis, maybe chipotle sauce, shit like vinaigrette (which he just calls "vinegar") and the sweet onion sauce until it's just this sopping fucking mess that blots through the parchment wrap. i cant decide if he'd go heavy or light on the cheese, but he definitely uses it as a binding agent to encase the peppers and onions and olives n shit in the folds of the various meats. i feel like he'd look at the lettuce and spinach and be like "WHATS THE LEAFS [sic] FOR? THE VEGANS?"
