A brief interlude to talk about Oathbreaker! I chose to go the route of poison in order to speed games along even if it means being a soft archenemy. Also fits the name of the format, as Ajani broke his oath. Have you tried this format with your playgroup/LGS?

Today is my birthday and my boyfriend got me the most beautiful alter for my Tiny Leaders Commander (Elf aggro ifc)!!! He knows how much I love V and he just gave me this!!!!! THANK YOU DARLING!!!!

I also got the second best weapon drop (the Oculus) in the game for my Sorceress in Diablo 2... Which is awesome! Today's a good day!!!

Reserve List: Spike of the Day

Another mostly quiet day but there's been a lot of movement on

He's a bit underwhelming considering how sweet Ragnar is in Vikings

I focused the graph to show his recent ups and downs but he initially spiked due to Tiny Leaders climbing up to $25 then. The format died (don't @ me) and the price dropped to $14 before the recent increases.

As I was saying yesterday, Legends rares are super rare so any demand will outstrip the supply. But the real lesson to take away from today is this - do not filter on English only cards. People leave behind excellent deals constantly because they never check foreign inventory. Italian Legends NM Ragnar is available at $8 while English MP is selling for more.

Another tip - lots of cards are still considered niche and difficult to sell. These include foreign, signed, altered, etc. But here's the thing: when you were trying to trade or sell locally, this was an issue but we have the internet! There are 5 different facebook groups for signed cards. There are foreign language groups for each language. You can move these cards so much easier than in the past as long as you know where to look.

Tiny Colorless Draw Engine

I was goldfishing my brand new Hope of Ghriapur deck tonight when I realized I had a pretty nice life/draw engine going. Four cards minimum are required.

1. Scrap Trawler

2. Thermal Navigator

3. Filigree Familiar

4. Myr Retriever

HOW IT WORKS

Sacrifice Filigree Familiar to Thermal Navigator, Draw 1 Sacrifice Myr Retriever to Navigator, return Familiar to hand Recast Familiar, gain 2 life Sacrifice Familiar to Navigator, Scrap Trawler triggers and return Retriever to hand, Draw 1 Recast Retriever then sacrifice it to Navigator, loop as mana allows Cost reducers like Foundry Inspector and Cloud Key help a lot with this.
