Data being the most relatable autistic boyfriend in the federation.
RIKER: When in Rome, eh?
WORF: When in where, sir?
They've had a couple of moments like this in Season 1, and obviously it's just because they hadn't decided on Worf's backstory yet, but it's so funny every time. Bestie, you grew up closer to Rome than he did
Was watching Elementary, Dear Data, this morning, and it’s crazy how much more respectful Pulaski is to a holodeck character who gained sentience like five minutes ago than she is to Data who she’s been serving with for at least a few weeks at that point in the show.
Hell, the events of this episode are a direct result of her disrespect towards his way of processing information and thinking. Even look at the difference in how she talks to Moriarty vs how she talks to Data in that singular episode.
Perhaps her bias comes more from the expression of emotion and communication of ideas, with Moriarty fitting more into what she would consider typical, than from the actual source of the life itself.
me too girlie, me too
i do like when someone gets introduced to data and their first response is “haha wow this is the coolest day of my life”
"let's teach data humor" and it's all the unfunniest shit i've ever heard
straight up obsessed with this screenshot from the tng pilot btw. baby obrien... troi with the boots. worf mid-stride. theres so much official bridge energy compressed into this shot... everyone mid-action and busily going about their business
data is too funnny
