ugh, girl, same. I adore both Connor and Hudson. I'm totally obsessed with them both. it is so annoying that I am over a decade older than them. I curse the linear passage of time!

I have never in my life wished to be younger than I am. I do not generally envy the younger generations at all. (I'm very glad I didn't grow up in the world they grew up in.) but now? for the first time the stars of my new obsession (Heated Rivalry) are significantly younger than me and it makes me kind of sad. (like, what do you mean they weren't born in 19-something-something?? how can that be???)

I think I wish they were older rather than that I was younger, though. I'd feel more comfortable if they were closer in age to me than if I were closer in age to them. (I do NOT want to experience my 20s again. not for anything.)

I take comfort in knowing that at least Jacob Tierney (the creator of the show) is older than me. (if I had found that he too was younger than me I think I might've fallen into a legit depression.)

hii!! in regards to the last diluc post abt the double standard,, i was reading through the notes and. i hope this doesnt come off as being rude especially bc i don't even post any of my genshin stuff, i just wanted to bring up that i draw diluc w more body hair / more fat than he is in canon because i genuinely find him more attractive that way 😭 i know this is twink impact but like the intention of drawing diluc that way isn't to put him down,, quite the opposite actually AKHSHSJAHSJA and i bring this up bc it's very possible that's a lot of ppls intentions too (this is tumblr, after all). but otherwise yeah i get what you mean, that's an odd thing to do :/

Intent is a big thing! If you don't mean any harm by it or use it as a way to degrade Diluc then it's fine. The post isn't aimed at those who do it cause innocent headcanons it's for when it's done to degrade Diluc as the "lesser" brother or as a way to hate on his canonical appearance, like when people call him ugly so they make him "uglier" or claim his that appearance is flawed cause it doesn't match their hcs, that's when hcs can start to irk me. But overall i know I can be very defensive of Diluc's canon design for various reasons I won't get into here so I apologize if anything in my post came off as hostile! You don't have to feel bad for having a headcanon. :)

Not directed at you but on the topic, honestly, I'm chill if ppl block me cause I do discuss my opinions towards fannon depictions of Diluc a LOT and i know that it can be upsetting to hear stuff that's a pretty major disagreement on a hc that you have or like. I'll admit I have blocked people myself before who depict Diluc in ways I disagree with not because I dislike the person or anything, but cause I can get VERY defensive of him especially his design and it's just easier for me to not see it. I never want to make a post that is hateful towards someone's hc no matter my personal opinions, I always want to aim to be objective. I want ppl to know that ya'll are allowed to do the same with my blog if I ever make you feel attacked or uncomfortable cause of what I post.
