A Goodbye letter from 10 years later
Did not.
"I want to start that I have known about you being Batman. I hoped that when I confessed about me being a half-ghost you would come clean. You did not.
I was fine with that. I would have given you the time of the world to confess. I didn't mind it. I Loved you. Every part of you. I know that you did love me too. How else would I have taken you to see a therapist?
The adopting part was a surprise. We didn't need to talk about that. I would have accepted them with open arms. I just wished that it didn't feel like walking on eggs shells because you forbid Dick to talk to you and him. I know it's about the night time thing but that in turn left blank space for me to try and understand that you did get along. I wished we communicated more than we did. We did not.
When you proposed I was over the moon. It was going to be how Dick image it would. A complete family. Even it he was older during that time. But then you and him got into a fight that I could not interfere with. It was about your other life. He cut you off. I expect for him to still talk to me. He did not.
Jason was a joy I knew I can count on him. I was warned that something was going to happen to him. I'm so glad that he let me in and told me about his plan. He was our joy. He was the glue that brought all of us back together. I considered those two as my own children. I thought I was finally be able to talk about them. You know? Like the whole truth. They did not.
I realized that they follow your word. In Wayne Manor Bruce Wayne is the leader and what he says goes. I planned on living like that. I was ready to accept it. But then I saw you with her. You let her in so quickly. It broke something inside. The you got drugged by her. I stood by your side like I promised I would. I thought you would finally tell me the truth. That you did not cheat on me on your free will. Maybe you thought I would have not left you that I would stay. I did not.
