i’ve seen a lot of posts on how the nhl not going to the olympics screws the us/canada, but to me, that’s not really the issue to be outraged by. to me, this is just another example of gary, the owners, and other nhl higher-ups being money-grubbing capitalist shitlords and failing to grasp the concept of growing the profile of the sport and of their league!!!! if you fuckers wanted to grow your presence in the biggest country in the world well this decision puts you even further behind the khl! guess what the largest country in the world has: a big economy!! you want money? there’s money there!!
