Roast Beef Club House Sandwich from The Sandwich House 55 in Shibuya. I recommend sitting at the counter seat that gives you a full view of the kitchen. Watch as the chefs slice the roast beef, fry the sweet potato chips, grill the egg-soaked bread for the French toast... I was so mesmerized that I was barely able to maintain a conversation. The $14 Roast Beef Club House Sandwich set comes with a bowl of salad, corn soup, a tall glass of coffee/tea... and the plate you see here. A hearty, four-piece toasted sandwich, a handful of sweet potato chips, some pickles to refresh the palate, a skewer of canned pineapple... and the mysterious extra rectangular piece of sandwich..? Where did you come from?! The open kitchen just boasts confidence of the craft. You see they're making no shortcuts - every piece of food is blessed by the hands of the chef. Needless to say the presentation is great, and the Sandwich is delicious.
