writing Dwarrow as ignorant to farming is one of the stupidest things I witness in fic writing guys...

Even if we accept that they are generally miners, they still have to cultivate something to eat and survive. We can say they were mainly shepherds and not farmers, I'm okay with it but are we going to ignore their nearly 2 centuries of immigration? Are we going to act like they haven't shared and were influenced by the people they passed by?

Sure, I can understand that not Dwarrow should know how to take care of an orchid but they sure as hell know how to sow and plant.
