Me watching Sleepless in Seattle finally after Ted Lasso referenced it and having multiple “are the straights okay?!” moments as I go through it.

This man is grieving his dead wife and this woman is stalking him and using him to escape the dissatisfaction she feels around her mediocre, okay-ish fiance whose greatest flaw seems to be he snores and has multiple allergies. THIS is a romcom classic?

(Yes I’m used to romcoms being a bit effed up but c’mon. Also, calling bs on Tom Hank’s kid fixating on Meg Ryan as The One from the dozens to hundreds of letters the family received from horny women.)
