Okay so basically at the start of the August drama specifically, Tommy made a skit video. You might wanna watch it for context, and if you do, it's called if youtubers were honest.

Here's the part I will be talking about for the post, though

Also for more context, dream has admitted to sexually messaging underage fans, and still associates with George, who made openly sexist comments.

He had a section in there about how Dream handled the Qsmp situation and was basically just making fun of him.

After seeing this, Dream gets on Twitter and starts liking and unliking posts making fun of Tommy.

Inniters get mad, ofc.

Drm stans are ticked bc their precious baby pedo is being bashed, inniters are fighting back.

Drm stans are calling Tommy abelist for the way he portrayed dream, he was not being ableist, he portrayed every character similarly,and are saying he was joking about Dream getting doxxed, which he never did.

Inniters are pointing out that Dream has tried to take credit for Tommy's career before and that this is bot the first time Dream has behaved like a manchild.

And then the Drm stans go after motherinnit.

She fights back, we fight back, all out controversy, that brings us to where we are now.... awaiting Dream's twitlonger so we can watch Philza bash him and end his career. (This has yet to happen but the second it does I'll add it to the post)

Tommy has so much respect for his fanbase.

I genuinely just…don’t understand people who think he’s a bad person. Because how?

How do people miss the fact that he constantly advocates for a more welcoming community?

How do people miss the fact that Tommy personally messages fan artists encouraging them and thanking them?

How do people miss the fact that whenever he says something wrong, he immediately apologizes after he realizes?

How do people miss the fact that he always encourages his friends and gives them advice and support?

How do people miss the fact that he strives to become better as a person?

How do people miss the fact that whenever he meets a fan, he engages in an entire conversation with them and he almost always agrees to take a picture?

Yes, he doesn’t have a way with words, but that’s okay. He may not be able to speak delicately about important topics, but he shows his love and support for his entire community through his actions.

And that, is a pretty damn good person.

he’s a very pretty boy, and since there’s no characters limit on tumblr i wanna explain my design here:

-tommy wears the bandana in his hair now bc it’s worn down

-i headcanon that getting revived means your entire body is healed, so his scars are gone now, which is a much better image than a two day decayed corpse walking around (the band-aid is kind of a staple now though)

-ofc we have friend’s sweater but he doesn’t always wear it since it’s summer currently

-his outfit underneath is his iconic shirt (except the red is faded and the white is discolored) with a long sleeve white turtleneck underneath bc layers r needed

-i’m not sure what happened in canon to the friendship emerald but i headcanon he wears it as a necklace (wilbur has a brooch, techno has an earring and phil wears his on his hat)

-tommy still wears the compass labeled “your tubbo”

-tommy wears an allium on his ear from ranboo

-and last but not least his inventory space, a backpack he wears that i imagine functions like that one bag from inside out that can hold much more than it looks

In lieu of Tommy hitting 10 million subscribers, I feel like we should acknowledge his growth just as much as Dream’s. Like we can agree that the SMP gave him the platform he needed to reach his audience, but it’s CRAZY how huge he’s grown since then with only his own work and dedication to blame.

At about this time last year, he hadn’t even hit 300k yet. That means in 12 months he gained 9.7 MILLION subscribers. That’s 2/3 of Dream’s growth, and Dream’s growth was unprecedented. On Twitch too- from averaging about 1k viewers to being the #9 most followed English streamer of all time on the site and easily holding the top spot for highest individual English concurrent viewership of all time, he’s held onto the spot of #1 streamer on the site for months now.

With the unstoppable combo of his passion and skill at content creating and the combined tutelage of viral stars Dream and Wilbur Soot, he took their advice and expanded on it. His 1 mil special isn’t even 10 months old yet. He expanded from stream highlights to mod videos to what’s now his vlog channel (which annihilated the competition in its first week in gained subs, tweet link). Tommy has been so smart in his growth and it’s clear that he loves his job and he’s cracked at it too.

While keeping up with school, vlogging, organizing meetups, writing lore, streaming, recording, talking with his friend-colleagues, boosting his own friends (Eryn, Freddie, Jack, Tubbo), and cultivating a community, Tommy has still been regarded as one of the kindest kids people have ever met. Every single creator, when speaking seriously, has sung nothing but praise of him. He checked up on Wilbur when he was going through tough times and made him get out of bed every day. He consistently checks in on Dream and even went to make sure he was ok after MCC14. He popped into a call with Sapnap and Puffy to tell them to have a great day before he went to school.

He’s such an amazing content creator, a kind and compassionate human, and overall a kind soul who deserves what he has right now, and all of the success he’s gonna have in the future. Congrats on 10 mil, Tommy :)
