Bellatrix and Voldemort are equally possessive, if Voldemort had living relatives Bellatrix would do everything to eliminate them if he showed too much attachment to them (obviously first making Voldemort hate them).

by whatever thread of action destined this twisted facade of love, deem yourself unlucky lucky.
just like everything else he does, stalker!tom would treat this like a chess game.
its obsession— duh. but your love is hardly the reward he is wanting to earn (or honestly: in his form of distorted reality) he can’t exactly place a reason why he craves your attention.
for loyalty, power, assets, status
is what he tells himself— though the conclusion is, you offer neither. supposedly, he doesn’t care about anyone.
“And why would you be the exception?”
-
what even is the reason he is so intrigued?
maybe he craves more than simple worship. have you ever tried soul offering?
stalker!tom notices everything.
Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but in my opinion Voldemort liked Bellatrix precisely because she had the courage to think differently from him and to go against him without betraying him (see the famous chapter at Snape's house).
Tom and Nagini both knew what it was like to lose yourself. Only he was losing in parts, and she was losing in whole.
I really believe that Bellatrix always preferred to call Voldemort Master rather than Lord because he was first and foremost that for her, her Master of the Dark Arts.

In the first year of school, Tom could ignore him. But in the second year, this strange boy deliberately began to attract attention to himself... A strange boy, in an old maid's uniform, whom no one else sees from the students.
- Tom went to a boarding school for boys, which his grandfather and father graduated from; - in the first year of school, the upperclassmen scare the freshmen with the legend of the school ghost, the maid, because of which a student was already dying; - one of the students has seen the ghost of a maid and is seriously afraid of it; - Tom tries to ignore the ghost of the deceased maid, but it seems to him that she deliberately wants his attention and appears in front of him at the most unexpected and inopportune moments; - Tom's interest in the school ghost increases when he accidentally finds old letters from his grandfather, from his school days, in which he confesses his feelings to some Harry.
