Hi y'all, So ive been in the Hazbin Hotel fandom for a bit, And theres one thing thats started bothering me immensely about Velvette, Something i have seen *nobody* else bring up...

...Why is she not purple?

The Vees all have their own colour, Represented by their magic, Their rooms/workspaces etc. Vox is obvi Blue, His design is blue, His magic is blue, His office is blue, His emplyees are blue, Even his human design has blue in it. Valentino is red, His coat is red, His smoke is red, His saliva is red, His studio is red, His employees are red (Or atleast shades of red i.e Angel Dust) And while his skin is Blue, Its blue because Vox is too (Also provides nice contrast to his redness) Its the same reason Vox has red in his design, They match colours because their a trio.

Now, With this rule of thumb, You'd expect Velvette to be, Oh idk, Purple? I mean, Red + Blue = Purple,

Her V on Vee Tower is Purple,

Her magic is purple,

Her Office/Room is purple/Pinkish (Honestly pink would've worked on her too)

Her phone screen and social media magic is purple,

Heck even in my first pic her background/Aura is Purple, (And later in the video during the "That dumb princess showed us the way" When she jumps on the platforms, One of them is PURPLE

I just...Why isn't she purple?! It makes so much sense! Her being red is generic and a stupid desicion honestly. Isn't her whole thing that she's a trend-setter? Isn't exactly trendy to wear red when *literally everyone else does* and plus! Purple is associated with wealth and royalty, Wow, Sure sounds like something Velvette would want, Wouldn't it be clever to have her main colour represent her main character trait? Being a spoiled brat? (No hate on Velvette tho i love her lol)

Like, It makes her honestly look out of place with the other Vees because they actually stand out with their blue-ness, While Vel is the generic red and black, Idc how many outfits u put her in, Their all Red/black/White and look BASIC! She honestly looks like a dazzled up background character.

But ye thats my rant, Do u agree with me? Do u not? If not, What colour should she had been? Lemme know, Kay bye ^^
