i love how every social media is on fire tumblr users don't want any kind of new change (tumblr live, new layout, literally anything) twitter is on fucking fire (ai scraping so cant post art anymore, algorithm has been shafted) and all the other new baby social medias are too small to build any following on

yall just dont want creatives who do this as a full-time job to survive , do you? even bigger artists are having issues - how do you think it's going for the smaller creators? like, I literally cannot work a physical job and all the work-from-home jobs require in-office training, that I can't get to cause I cant drive or I'll black out at the wheel and that's just me - I'm one of 10,000+ smaller creators on the internet

thanks for shitting so hard on tumblr live that hardly anyone uses it -it could've been great for small artists to hang out and draw with some visibility thanks for being so adverse to change - and I get change is hard, I have adjustment disorder.

i hate being indie mainly because i have to do everything myself - especially the things I don't understand, like social media & metrics its so stressful and I know its holding me back it makes me feel stupid that I'm struggling with this even tho I know better I'm so tired of not understanding

i hate the state of creation today there's no fucking media literacy anymore - everything is taken literally and never thought of deeper, satire is completely lost everyone consumes everything created so fast and gets upset when there isn't immediately (or at least quickly, within a few days) more for them to consume and the struggle to keep up with that consumption but keep things themed in the perfect middle ground of basic & surface-level and deep & complex I hate navigating this fucking minefield, on my own no less having to always be working on the next thing, bigger than last time but not enough time between things that people get bored and stay interested in what I'm making cause if they get bored, they leave and I lose everything I'm so fucking tired all the time, I'm literally losing sleep and my hair over this shit
