Quick tutorial of how I put gradient line breaks in my TRP! Fair warning that I’m not sure how these affect loading time; I just thought this was far easier to do than the other alternative method I found floating around on Twitter.

World of Warcraft Bug?

So I have NO idea what causes this and I haven't met anyone yet who experiences this so let me see if tumblr knows what the fuck is going on: I RP on WoW and sometimes when people make custom emotes (/e) only their TRP name will show up, but not the actual emote. And I say TRP specifically because I've only ever had this happen with people who use TRP. And I'll ask people around me if it's not showing up for them too, but they can apparently see the emotes just fine. So what the fuck. Help. I get so awkward in RP when I have to ask someone OOC what the fuck they said.

So you wanna know how to use gradient text in TRP:

So, everyone has seen those radical profiles all across Orgrimmar and Stormwind, but there aren’t any tutorials on how to do it! So first, you’ll have to copy and paste your text into this website: x

So! What you do is you paste your text into the message box, pick the number of colors and pick the colors you’d like! There are color presets there as well and some look really good in TRP.

Next you can pick the fade type! The thing with them is that everything outside of vertical fade only looks good when aligned on the left side but they look radical as hell. For example, if you pick the option to do horizontal spinback, pick seven, it looks like a stripe across the text.

But, I enjoy the verticle so lets go with that.So! When you get the text it will look like this.

So put this into Google docs or something that you can replace text with. Go ahead and hit Ctrl+f, we’re going to be doing a LOT of work to this.

Delete “<div>” and </div>”

Search up “<span style=“color:#” and replace it with “{col:”

Search up “;”>” and replace it with “}”

Search up “</span> and replace it with {/col}

Search up “ “ a space, and replace it with nothing to get out the gaps between letters.

The rest is going to be pasting it into TRP and adjusting it. I had to go into mine and adjust it and add spaces between words. Hope this was a decent guide!
