Sometimes no one can tell you have Tourettes. And sometimes you sit in a Team meeting with all your coworkers and keep hitting your plate and yelling "this bitch empty".
And then it just is like that.

On one hand I understand why store owners profile me as someone who steals. I move erratically and keep taking glances at everyone.
On the other hand, I have Tourette. And I don't think someone who is trying to steal would keep announcing it with "I AM STEALING!".
ANNOYING ANSWERS I GOT TO "I have tourettes"
• Oh like the Youtuber?

•Want attention that badly?
Story time!
That time a doctor really was being stupid as fuck.
So when my tics just got worse and more notice able I ofc wanted a diagnosis.
So we went to a so called "specialist". Spoiler alert she was incompetend as fuck.
At first it didn't seem that way. She was doing all the things I was tould by my Tictac Friends they had to do and get done for their diagnosis.
EEG and so on.
Well when it became time to put a name to my tics she was stumped.
She put down "chronic tic disorder".
Wich is kind of right. Its chronic. Chronic tics are defined as longer then a year with no bigger pause then 3 months.
Well thats right.
But chronic tic disorders are defined as either motor or vocal. Not both. And not to this extend.
Chronic motor & vocal tics are, you can guess it, Tourettes!
So I was like
"Uh...chronic tic disorder means either vocal or Motor."
-"Yes."
Ok getting somewhere, great so far.
"But I have vocal AND motor tics."
-"Yes."
Ok can you not understand what I'm trying to say?!
"And chronic vocal and motor tics are tourettes."
-"Yes."
Yeah and?! And!!?
"So....I have tourettes?"
-"No?! You don't swear. You don't scream. "
At that point I didn't. But jaj, bsjhduehs?! That not a Diagnostic criteria for TS!!!
Wtf lady
TW: Images of the result of violent tics! (No fresh blood), bruises
"Oh tourettes is soooo funny!" (sarcasm)
Its really not. Its painful. Its embarrassing. It can make easy tasks difficult.
Making my self some cereal? I failed as you can see.
Simply trying to exist next to a wall? Think again. You gotta punch it.
Walking around without violently slamming your self in the ground? Haha nooo silly you. Ruin your knee.
Hand modeling? Nah. Fightclub hands only.
Just think of this stuff the next time you make a joke about the "funny swearing disease".
Ok everyone listen the fuck up.
If you tell someone their tics are annoying, you already are a pice of shit.
But its still far better then making fun of them behind their back.
Don't spend time with us if we annoy you.
I'm longing to pick up a pen again.
I want to draw, write or just scribble wild circles and little hearts.
I want to be able to hold a pen without jabbing it in to the table, my leg, my arm.
I want to draw without throwing my pen at people, at the wall, at whatever I can hit.
I want to write without biting the pen I'm holding or snap it in half.
I just want to be able to feel a pencil move over paper without consequenzes.
Is that really to much to ask?
(New)Tics I currently have, like a lot:
-"JUST SQUISH THE CAT"
-"Hauptbahnhof!" (=mainstation)
-"Drop drop drop!"
-"Eat my cat Daniel"
-"Shut up pussy boy"
-*trys to put my fist in my mouth*
-*kicks any object* "oi slut"
-*bites knee* stop
-"stop stop stop stop..."
-*licks own arm* "Sir. Sir please stop."
-"...on my way to the vet, I killed a cat" (Bo Burnham you did this to me)
-"I'M A TEENAGER" *holds up middle fingers*
- in sign language: you, me, dance? *wiggles with eyebrow*
