A mega deal, Chicken Mandi is a popular authentic Yemeni dish that consists of 3 components: Chicken a Yemeni spice mix called "Hawaij", and rice. Most delicious Yemeni Rice OMG fantastic. So it's $13.50 for a Whole Chicken and 4 bucks for the Rice. So under 20 bucks feed's 2 hungry folks, yes we had leftovers. Comes with a few different sauces and pita bread to make rolled sandwich. This Chicken pulls apart easily straight off da bone, tender juicy marvelous flavor. Also had the a quart of Lentils Soup always a winner and a Cheese Flatbread for the Win. Love this new Bakery and Restaurant, my 2nd visit. Had this version of Chicken Shawarma Fries Wowed, Love the pump's of Hot Cheese. A order of fantastic Grape Leafs are perfect everytime. A mega box of Wonderful Meat and Cheese Pies, great prices only 10 bucks per dozen a must try. Thanks to the owner for the hospitality. Town Bakery Hot n New open a month now. It's a full Middle Eastern Bakery and Restaurant with dining n restroom. Outstanding Yemeni food started with Veggies Grape Leaves and Hummus both spot on and cheap. A marvelous fresh Falafel made as you order, some of the very best ever. Order of Deep Fried Kibbie she Loved. Instant Addiction the Long Meat bread made as you order, Ground Beef, Onions Mater and Cheese OMG we shared this wonderful mega treat a must try. A whole Chicken 12 bucks n change the juices running outta the bird as I picked it up. Took about 20 minutes was very Happy we took it home for dinner. Melvindale is the new Yemeni town Downriver has half a dozen Yemen owned business and most of the city resident's are of Yemeni dissent, better you didn't know. We gonna visit this place a few times per month. Fast friendly service, great food and really low prices.
