This weekend we were craving burgers so made homemade veggie burgers. Ok they were more like home assembled since we bought all of the ingredients. We used lettuce from the farmers market, onion, micro greens, veggie patties, avocado and bread from Trader Joe's and veggie bacon from my local co-op. Oh and of course Annie's spicy mustard. They were delicious, cheap and easy to make! We've been trying to save money lately and rather than buying two burgers at a restaurant for $13 each, we spent $30 and had left over ingredients as groceries for the entire week!
