A Tale of Cold Light and a Burning Heart
Once, in a land where the winds were older than the mountains and the stars fell into dark waters, he lived — a being carved from the primeval light.
He was beautiful, like a clear night, and light in his ways, like the first breeze of spring. He smiled, and his gaze seemed warm. He reached out a hand — and hearts reached back without hesitation.
Thus their story began.
At first, everything was easy: words flowed like water, laughter rang through the air. He was close — closer than breath. He looked — and it seemed he truly saw.
But his light was deceiving.
Almost imperceptibly, the first cold days came. He would disappear — without explanations, without goodbyes. He would return — as if nothing had happened, offering a smile worth forgiving the whole world’s chill.
The swings grew wilder. Sometimes he became cold and distant, like an unreachable peak. Sometimes — warm, almost familiar.
And the heart, once captured by his light, beat helplessly between these poles, still hoping.
Days passed. Cracks appeared in the heart. Echoes of blows sounded in the soul — blows that left no marks on the skin but shattered everything alive within.
There were moments when it seemed right to flee. There were moments when it seemed right to believe.
He stood high above, as always, beautiful and cold. And only the heart, wounded and bleeding, still reached out to him, still searched for his gaze.
But true light is not the one that blinds and burns. Nor the one that demands suffering to stay near.
True light is the one that wants you to be happy — with me or without me.
And one day, the one who stood below understood: his love should not be chains. It should not be torment.
He tried to let go. Not of him. Of himself.
And the wind, older than the mountains, carried the silent scream of his heart into the endless night.
