I need an AU where Leo and Donnie are both trans (Leo transmasc and Donnie transfem), and Splinter actually got their assigned genders correct. When they're 8-9, they figure out they don't like being a boy/girl, so what do the do?
Prank their entire family with it.
Only, with Leo's master acting skills, they manage to accidentally gaslight them.
Splinter: What is it, Blue?
Child Leo: You got me and Dee's bodies wrong!
Splinter, now very confused: What?
Child Donnie, not technically lying: Papa, I am a girl, and Lee is a boy.
Splinter, now panicking: O-oh, is that right my so-dau-child?
Child Leo, 100% Bullshiting: Yeah! We were looking at our turtle us's and it said that Dee was a girl and I was a boy!
Splinter, still panicking: How interesting, and what would you like to be?
Child Leo, way to good at manipulation for anyone's good: A BOY! My new name is Leonardo!
Child Donnie: I would like to be a girl, though I want to keep my name.
Splinter, desperately in need of a break from these little shits: O-okay, my children, you should go let Red and Orange know.
Child Leo and Donnie, little shits extraordinaire: Okay Papa! *Run off to go gaslight everyone else*
Splinter, internally: Did I mess up on the other two, too?
