So me and @magnificentconnoisseuroffandoms caved and made cupsonas so I doodled a bit of them. Marylyn (nick name is Bloody Mary or just Mary) is theirs, and Inkwell (Inky or The Sly Artist) is mine. They both are working at the casino and don’t actually have debt to the Devil. Mary starts as a busboy and gets promoted to being a flapper girl. Inky is the Devil’s secretary and wants to keep pursuing art.  Inky’s mom is a pen object person and their dad is a human, so they have a slightly shiny pale skin and ink hair. The ink hair can be washed away for some time, and “dyed“ when Inky adds different color ink into it. It can also be somewhat of a mess from time to time so they always have a handkerchief or some sort of rag on them at all times.

Last week’s art history journal was on the Renaissance period, and I felt like drawing something a bit more aesthetically pleasing so I drew Intelligence out on a field full of flowers. It came out pretty neat.

My art history journal for the Gothic time period. I honestly had no inspiration to drawing a background so I ripped two images from google images and collaged that.

For my Romaneque history art journal I saw some of the artwork of this time period and it reminded me of the shape of an eye, so I zoomed in on Intelligence’s eye.

I was veeerrrryyyy lazy when it came to doing this visual journal on the roman art history. I just wasn't into it today, but never-the-less, I got it done. If at anything, I like how the background turned out.

So lately our visual journals consists of displaying what we’ve learned about different points of history with their art. So my OC Intelligence on hand this was my first crack at it with the prehistoric era.

Another art history journal, this one on the Byzantine art period. It’s known for it‘s religious paintings and window art on churches. This was a pretty quick piece because I was out of ideas, but I did enjoy drawing Intelligence pretty neutral and gluing in thread and index cards.

This piece is called “Negativity Holds Me” and it goes along with a short story I wrote. It’s a mix media piece. This and the short story is for Art 1, and I had so much fun making this piece, and while I would change some details here and there I’m still very proud of this piece.

For those wondering, Negativity is that snake/reptile holding me. They are one of a few characters I have as aspects of myself.

The speedpaint for this will be out on Tuesday, which is also the due date for this piece.
