Latest pieces with my OC’s! The first is the most recent one. Been working with light a lot as of late. I went through a bit of a rut since mid-july after returning from a trip, but I think I’m finally beginning to wane, thankfully. Still those are some of the my favorite finished pieces :)

Last I drew Sareena was a WHILE ago.

I played Mortal Kombat's Khaos Reign last week and enjoyed it despite a rather anticlimatic last fight. I remember when I was screaming at Kronika for how annoyingly difficult she was to beat, but it's like we went to another extreme, but on the easy side. I do like a BIT of a challenge.... But otherwise, great story. I enjoyed seeing Mileena's reign too after Sindel, and the repercussions of hers and Liu's actions in regards to

Shao.

Anyway? This was fun to work on :D

Hello lovelies!

Just out here giving the link to my Patreon. I want it to be a place where everyone has access. It is free (except for wallpapers that will be available later and the tip if you wish.) It is a stress free zone -- I wanted a place that is organized to post some old and new art. My brushes will also be available soon (as soon as I figure out how to do that lol) which will also be free. I feel that hiding behind a paywall is just not it for me and causes unnecessary stress, something I am getting rid of in my life at the moment. There MAY be tutorials in the future.

It's also a good place for me to post my very old art over the years, all the way back to 20 years ago (tho I don't have a lot of those left ;; )

I tried to work really fast on that one compared to the others and I'm rather happily surprised with the result. Also I realized when I was done what that expression reminded me of and... well, see below. :)

This is also part of the story I am revamping. Can you see the kind of personality this little rascal possesses? heheeh

GOOD MORNING LOVELIES!

This isn't my character but a friend's character who prefers remaining anonymous for the most part for the time being :) I drew this character before, but I wasn't happy with the result as I am with this one. I've said before that l've been writing again, and this is one of the main characters.

It takes me much longer working on paintings these days and I think I figured out why, and it's quite obvious in the following slides showing the general work I did just why that is: my brain is stupid, essentially LOL.

Now hear me out: what I really mean is that at some point, usually near the end, where I start seeing all the errors, or at least a lot of them. That means I end up doing a lot of erasing and fixing in the last part, usually very significant changes at that, something I did not do prior in my earlier paintings and drawings. This is GOOD because I learn a lot doing this... but also very annoying because by then I wanna get it done and move on LOL Mind you, I also do not work on these all day long as I have chores to work on in the meantime.

But I'm happy with how this came put in the end. :D

I am thinking of starting youtube videos ( moreso a diary of sorts where I speak about things that interest me and art as well of course. I will post the link when I begin. I'm still doing lots of brainstorming but I feel it'll be easier than streaming, which is very very tiring, and frankly l'm not that great at it lol)

Good morning!

It’s been a while since you’ve seen new art from me, hasn’t it? lol At the end of December/early January I decided I wanted to rebrand if you will, as well as taking a break from most social media. I deleted X. I deleted my old insta account and remade. I took my time, which is why it took so long for me to come back.

I've decided that I will probably focus more on my own characters and stories. As is the case here. Years ago I wrote with a few friends a roleplay story that was so cool I still talk about it 20 years later (it stretched on for a decade at least too). So I decided to retake my characters and revamp them and their stories. Not ALL of them are mine — I have permission from a friend to use their characters as such. However, they will remain anonymous per their requests.

Does that mean no more Mortal Kombat art? Absolutely not. I just want to diversify a bit and focus on my own things more.

So hello again! I'm back. Have you missed me? ;)

This took WAY longer than it should have. It took me two weeks of working and reworking this until I was satisfied enough to show. I’ve been enjoying this more painterly feel. Now it’s not that things were not perfect enough that I worked so long on this, but because I wasn’t satisfied with the expressions and faces of the characters. So I reworked them both at LEAST once from scratch ;; There is, in fact, some hilarious bloopers, believe it or not, of when I was trying to fix their face, especially hers. lol

So anyway, those are two of my characters being reworked on. :) And I’m having a blast hehe!
