My contribution to Zelda’s 40th Anniversary, based on concept art for the original game. Link always looked so lonely in that art, so I thought it would be nice to give him some company! There’s at least one reference to every single Nintendo of Japan produced Zelda game, including spin-offs. Naturally, this doesn’t extend to non Nintendo of Japan games like the CD-i entries or the Nelsonic game watch (not to be confused with the Game&Watch). The third image is all of the references explicitly pointed out and named!

Again, I’m just changing some things that I didn’t quite liked about their previous references, I made their designs in a really short of time and well, now I’m trying to do a better job haha.

Worlds sword suit isn’t that relevant and he can have a lot of outfits, I like more his normal clothes though, those are cute.

I will be updating their info too but it’s not my priority now.

these two are my favourites: your hylia design (i am always a sucker for hylia designs and yours is so nice) & this triforce heroes art (underrated game + they're so cute!! tbh i cannot decide if i like the dyed hair version or the natural hair version better, your designs & colouring makes them look really nice either way)
