Wanted an excuse to draw my trickster Rose design again and it ended up becoming a little bouquet of Roses lmao.

This took days holy shit. I also wanted to try out some new methods for coloring/shading/highlighting and I definitely like how it turned out. Even if the process was twice as long as usual, but that could also just be because I’m not used to doing it.

As a bonus, here’s the drawing again after I played around with procreate’s halftone, noise, and chromatic aberration tools:

The difference is subtle but I kinda like it.

I would be very interested in seeing art of the Homestuck Kids in Trickster Mode, but with the paper-white skin tone they bore throughout the rest of the comic, Grim states notwithstanding. Like, I would love to please see any examples of what that would look like, deracialized Tricksters. Thank you.
