I just spoke to a guy who works for a real estate company based in CA, the man said they own over 42k homes spread over 22 states. I make it a point to be a good example for my little guys because they watch my every move, and I know they're only going to do what they see Dad do. I'd be a fool to think otherwise. Kids are a blessing and the only thing that matters in life is me being present to show them love and teach them how to be good men, respectful, honorable, and productive members of humanity. Yeah I have a career and I truly do love my work, but it will NEVER take priority over my family. So as I prepare to purchase this property, I'm constantly reminding myself to never lose sight of what really matters, because it doesn't matter how big the house is, what matters is that its A HOME full of love! I am building an empire for them to one day takeover, so they don't have to work at McDonalds & Kroger like I did. They're not too good to work those jobs, but I worked those jobs because there were no other options at that time, I'm changing that! Every car I've owned, I bought. Every house I've ever lived in, I bought. I never had my own room until I bought my first house, y'all know what I'm talking about. I know my parents did the best they could with what they had and I love them, and the day I retire my mom will be a goal accomplished, and on that day, I know Essique will look down from heaven and give me that nod...just as he did the day Malique was born! Although I do feel its real fucked up that my Lil man will never get to meet his grandfather, that just sucks, and it breaks my heart cause I really miss my dad. But that's life and I've had to accept it, and yes I still say Fuck You to Cancer all day every day! That will never stop, even after we find the cure, and WE WILL find the cure! There will be people who will try to derail your train, but its important to always remember that YOU ARE THE CONDUCTOR! If they're causing drama and disrupting your progress, KICK THEIR ASSES OFF! If you're trying to live healthy and they're negative because you've changed your diet, started working out, and you no longer have time to "hang out" as much as you once did, get them out of your life. If you're trying to start a business or better your financial situation, and they're telling you to "just go get a job", remove them from your circle and keep moving forward. Don't alienate them, but sit them down and let them know you are THE CONDUCTOR of this Success Train, and they can either choose to ride along and help you reach your destination, or they can choose to get off...but they will have to have to choose one or the other! And don't feel bad if you have to let them off, because remember, it was THEIR CHOICE to get off! I believe in order to succeed, we need positivity and inspiration around us, not negativity, and its vital that we make absolutely no exceptions to this rule!!!
