dude. Euphoria is just a humiliation ritual. For both the actors on the show and the viewers. Not only is it ridiculous and over the top in a way that can't even be described as "camp", it just feels like everything sam levinson makes is just "how can I make these women perform f*tish material for me" it's disgusting.

opinion: jeff x abed being canon in the community movie would actually sort of make narrative sense?

agree - okay so I LOVE jabed I love it an insane amount and honestly I think it would make sense. I really liked them especially in the last episode where they kinda came full circle.

Abed finally being able to ease off using TV and media as a coping mechanism like he has his whole life because he's moving on from Greendale, but Jeff reverting back to using TV as a coping mechanism because he spent his whole life with no comfort, and now that he's found some he's clinging to Greendale and Abed's "gimmick" because he's afraid of letting go.

I genuinely think it could make sense but I don't think it would be done correctly. they aren't trobed, they aren't meant to be wholesome and childish, if they were together it would be messy and hard and probably sometimes toxic because of how similar they are but how Abed's instinct was always to embrace his "nerdy" side and use it to hide his true feelings but Jeff created a blank canvas of a personality to hide the fact that he's not as cool as he wishes he was.

they're just two insecure teenage boys, but one became the victim and the other became the bully.

Topic change from my last posts bc I needed some break from the YouTube madness I sometimes get, so I have been rewatching some Criminal Minds episodes and Reid is my favorite character, and I love angst with my favorite character so of course I decided to watch one of those episodes.

Spoilers for s9 eps 23 “Angels” and 24 “Demons”

Like I watched it bc I remembered the corrupt police, Reid being shot, and then of course them trying to poison Reid and Garcia saving him. And wooooo are those some scenes. I did however very much forget the very end of Demons. The part where Alex is taking Spencer home and he asks about Ethan. And how she explains and then tells Spencer that he’s a lot like how she pictures Ethan to be (which already tears slowly falling down my face) BUT THEN I REMEMBERED THIS IS HER LEAVING

And when she leaves even Spencer seems to know that’ll be his last time saying goodbye like that “bye Alex” that was more to himself than her, him immediately going and checking his bag, him not even surprised her badge was in there. And damn what a time to have someone walk away and leave, right after they tell you, you remind them of their kid. Especially when Spencer’s dad walked away, when his mother loved him but ultimately didn’t take notice of him being late from school when they tied him up on the football field (not that she didn’t care it was during one of her episodes but like damn that added a lot more hit to this when he talks to Morgan about it in Elephant’s Memory) and he kind of had to leave her bc he wasn’t the best thing for her and her schizophrenia

add another tally to Spencers parental figures leaving , idk even know how many its at, at least 3 too many that I can think off the top of my head

The Inspector and Constable Reggie will never be canonically romantically involved. The Inspector will live far longer then Reggie and though on the surface S02E13 looks like it’s about the strength of their bond not wavering despite eons and seperate planetary location, how they were yet able to communicate, theres an underlying theme of mortality. Reggie’s mortality, and his impending death. That moment where the inspector is in the chambre, realizing Reggie is dead here in the future, but that bittersweet realization that Reggie is just a nucleionic fluid replacement in the darsit away, is just so impactful. He’s not happy, and his dialogue to Barbara Clarke reflects it. He’s talking a lot slower, and that moment when he grabs onto Reggies arm, pulling him back in the darsit. When Reggie says he loves the inspector and the inspector says “mate, I missed you.” Not responding with the truthful “i love you too” or acknowledging the romantic undertones of that statement because the inspector knows he simply cannot love Reggie.

Some of my issues with the Witcher (mostly revolving around Jaskier, but not limited to him).

1. Eskel. The while Eskel subplot. WTF. Could they not have used ANY of the nameless witchers in the keep? They HAD to make Eskel an absolute ass and then kill him? Really?

2. Why oh why is Jaskier only good for the show runners as comedic relief?

3. Not every serious scene needs comedic relief (see smuggling elves in ep 4 and the final battle in ep 8)

4. What the hell did they do to Fringilla Vigo?

5. Can Jaskier please finally get a horse? He is a famous bard, he can afford one.

6. More completent Jaskier please. It’s almost like every character can be completent EXCEPT for Jaskier.

7. Jaskier deserves a better appology. He has been a very loyal friend. And a generally good person.

8. Why is everyone civil with everyone except Jaskier? He really was himboed and made into a punching Bag/joke.

TV Rant

Just how many shows and movies have we seen where the heroine befriends a man the hero is wary about and then she gets assaulted and the hero protects her? And how many more of these do we need to see?

One trope of Indian TV I never get is the male lead is aware of a potential harasser and tries to warn the female lead who rubbishes his claim,

WHEN IN REALITY A WOMAN ALWAYS RECOGNIZES A POTENTIAL HARASSER AND TRIES TO TELL PEOPLE WHO TELL HER SHE’S OVERTHINKING OR INSULTING A MAN OR THAT THE RANDOM MAN DIDN’T MEAN TO OFFEND HER.

Trust me, no woman is chilling while a guy whom she has no feelings for is staring at her from the corner or making up excuses to suddenly spend time with her. She doesn’t need her hero to tell her somethings fishy with the random dude.

We know that’s trouble since we’re 9.
