What would have happened if Archie had a bad ending??? well I imagine something
In summary... Archie hanged himself and since Valorie and his group were not there (since they had gone on a mission) it took a long time to later find his body now in a state of decomposition, Valorie being the one who unfortunately saw Archie in that state.
without knowing that Archie's soul stayed on this earthly plane to continue protecting the portal of the end, but now he was no longer afraid but HATE AND A LOT OF RESENTMENT for the world that turned its back on him (that includes Yummi)
Now, as a ghost full of hate, he wanders in the overworld, protecting and preventing the idiots from trying to activate the portal.
Its rotten appearance is what keeps away the adventurers who dare to see it, and know it as ........
