Charles can't blink. If he can, it's because the human eye can't process it quick enough.
Charles is known to stare into residents' homes for hours on end. Counting this with the fact that he doesn't blink makes it uncomfortable if it's a single-room building. However, it's mainly out of curiosity if Charles wasn't hunting them down in the first place and decided to be stubborn.
In ancient times, the egg shards after hatching or have been destroyed were made into sets of jewellery, weaponry and armour due to their industuctablity. they found a timeframe where the shell becomes malleable during hatching/the ritual and was quick to exploit it. Charles can be bribed with food, but not without consequence. If he finds a particular food that's delectable, he would purposely station himself outside of their house and will not leave them alone until they give him some. he would not hurt nor kill them since he knows he won't get any more of these "cornish pasties" if he did. A couple cultists have learnt this before warren formed the cult and have become some form of peacemakers when they need him semi docile for a particular reason.
The blood that surrounds his mouth is caused by him continuously biting himself at any given time. he doesn't have lips how will he get kiss kiss? very ugly no kiss for him
Can be talkative when he wants to be. it's like a mixture of chittering, chirps and mimicry of human voices. sometimes he makes the same noise cats make when they see a bird.
Speaking of cats, everyone practically agrees that Charles is like a cat. we like a goof giant spider train loaf and see spider paw.
