shivering from the typhoon air tonight,, praying to Hera this storm passes soon and leaves the Philippines

last night was scary, y'all...like not having electricity or signal, and the last i heard from any gc was a bunch of emergency hotlines, pictures of the river almost overflowing, houses flooded, people stranded on rooftops, announcements saying that all schools have turned into evacuation centers and to inform everyone who was stranded. Our area was part of a flash flood, but it was fixed pretty early and we spent the whole night cleaning up. my heart goes out to anyone who's working today, people whose houses were flooded worse than ours yesterday, and that one person who was electrocuted and drowned by a fallen powerline. Thank you especially to the food delivery drivers out there who are at work TODAY, in the flooded streets. May many tips be upon ye.
