This specimen was referred to as Little Godzilla.
No true relation to the King of the Monsters, but he has been taken in as an adopted son, still. Speaking volumes about the intelligence of the species.
That did not mean the younger one didn’t do anything not so smart. While big compared to most things, this tropical, human-less island that he’s found has many things bigger than him, and they’re not always going to be the friendly sort. But he likes how the sun hits his scales, and how wet everything was.
A dead Parasaurolophus, laid, rotting not too far from the coast, and he was hungry. Being an omnivorous creature, he would easily eat this beast.
Being 16 feet tall, meant that he was still very young for his species, even without the radioactivity boosting his growth, and had much to learn.
And a lesson is soon coming, as the little beast continues to devour the carcass, too invested in this new meat to hear the thundering stomps of something very close, and something very big.
