Here we have a unique silo apt. in  Allegan, Michigan for $795 mo.

I can’t figure this out. It looks like some of the rooms enter from out in the hall.

The rooms are unique, but small and oddly shaped, so you’d have to buy some small furniture.

The kitchen’s not bad. 

I think that the narrow door is a closet.

I’m gonna guess that you wouldn’t get a queen sized bed in here.

The bathroom’s a good size.

Very stylish duplex duplex apt. in Sweden has a wet bar outside the living room, a modern fireplace, terrace, enclosed porch, and a great view. 

Looking down at the kitchen/dining room from the mezzanine. 

For an apt., the dining room fits a whopping 12 people, and could even squeeze 2 more in at the ends of the table.

There is a guest bedroom right off the dining room. 

This is so nice- a child’s room with an enclosed porch used as a playroom.

And, this is the cozy enclosed porch that the adults enjoy.

The main bedroom isn’t huge, but the apt. has 4 bedrooms. 

An older child’s bedroom has a skylight instead of a window. 

The apt. has a shower and a tub in two separate baths.

It’s a big apt., with an unusual layout, but I like it.

Here’s an adorable upper floor apt. in Australia. 

This is such an unusual feature. Like how the large mirror gives the small area depth. 

Basic kitchen with a wooden backsplash and counter. Open shelving above gives it a modern look, but look at the unique plug-in lighting. I’ve never seen anything like that.

What this apt. lacks in kitchen cabinetry, it more than makes up for with the baby AGA stove. That tiny AGA costs around $9,170.00!

The coffee table look like a flower- very unusual. 

And, finally, there’s a lovely bedroom in the attic.

Here’s an interesting rental a Facebook friend found in Reno, Nevada, for $975 mo. on Hot Pads. I like the artwork, but can’t figure out the layout.

I’m thinking that this is supposed to be the sleeping area. 

The kitchen is miniscule, but I LOVE that broken dish mosaic backsplash. Do you love the hole in the shelf for the colander? 

Also love the wooden valance on this shelf. 

The floor appears to have several levels. Is that a nightlight in a shelf? Someone painted a great little “rug” on the floor.

The frame around the mirror is cute, too. And, look at the little chair on the wall- looks like a little drawer. As weird as the layout is, it seems that the previous tenant was very artistic.

Camilla’s apt. in Oslo, Norway, is awesome. I don’t know what sort of building it is, but look at the gated front door and white washed brick walls. It’s decorated in a mix of rustic rock, glam and nature.

It’s 100 sq. meters (1,076 sq. ft.)  Brick, glamorous chandeliers, sequins, leather and natural wood set the distinctive and inspiring style.

Part of the apt. has original brick floors and look at those stairs.

In the dining room of this unusual home there’s fancy crown molding, pocket doors and parquet floors. What a mix.

Her small kitchen is the showstopper. Look at the brick shelving, and the appliances are set into brick as well.

And, running a close second to the kitchen is this wonderful bathroom. What an amazing apt.

Elitea’s amazing apt. in Seattle is like nothing you’ve ever seen.  “ I'm a little eccentric,” she says,  " And besides, I love to paint, cook, garden, fish, sail, dance, study, tattoos, music, wine and so many other things! “

One of her two cats goes with her almost everywhere and enjoys wearing clothes. It’s difficult to comment on her style- there’re lots of drapey fabrics. 

The tiny dark apt. has lots of artifacts. It’s hard to tell if she’s a bit of a witch or a collector of junk.

She has it listed on Airbnb, and one must wonder if she gets many takers.

She has little music area under the bed, next to the kitchen.

The bed is draped with all sorts of fabrics.

The bath looks just like the rest of the apt.

There’s a lot of stuff in this apt. and but it all ties into an earth-toned color scheme.

Lots of old books, art, and I just noticed a mannequin peering out from behind the plastic drawers. There certainly is a lot to see in such a small space.

Here’s an unusual 3 apt. home in Budapest with a surprisingly lovely attic apt.  decorated in industrial style.

Look at how beautiful the windows look from inside. The coffee table was made from an actual old trolley.

The dining-living room is a large open space. 

The work area in the dining room has an old medical cabinet painted blue.

The kitchen was kept simple with stainless steel appliances and gray cabinetry. The wooden shelves are vintage.

There’s a 2nd level with bedrooms. The master bedroom has a big old bed with 2 twin size headboards put together.

This is a child’s room. Beside the old, cast iron bed and gray lockers, the orange lamp, the cheerful yellow carpet, and the luminous neon letter bring color to the space.

This is that weird little open space in the middle of the house, that you see from the outside. From the apt., it’s a beautiful deck.

In the bathroom the black-and-white tiled floor is completed with simple, white tiles. A unique, solid oak cabinet beautifully stores everything.

In the home office, there’s a vintage tool storage chest and a retro wire chair.

An old school in Brussels was converted to contemporary white apts. with yellow glass walls. Isn’t this unique?

They say it brings a colorful glint to the apt.

This particular unit is entirely white and minimal. I wonder how it would do with different colors. 

There certainly isn’t much privacy. I see doors in the walls, but they’re still transparent.

I do like the sparkly gold water closet.

The elevated bath has a yellow floor, but it’s still see-thru. So, you really wouldn’t want to take a bath while people are in the kitchen below. This may sound crazy, but it reminds of pee.

The bedroom has a wall of yellow closets.

The kitchen’s pure white and has doors to a terrace.
