Thank you! :)
I am curious: is there a post in which you explain how you came to believe in Greek Gods? Before I started following you, I've Never heard about it. If you have already Mentioned that, can you link me to that post? Only if it isn't too Personal, of course... I Have done some Research online and I was baffled how many People actually Share this religion. It Sounds pretty complicated to me... Strange thing: I remember a Trip to Greece when I was younger and how connected I felt to Some places.
The easy answer is gradually. The ancientGreek stories were ones that I grew up on; it was always far more than merefascination. I was homeschooled, so my mom worked to teach me a lot of mylessons through Ancient Greece, as that’s what I wanted to learn about.
Hey, i am not really familiar with readings but it Sounds like something I might get Interested in? Could you do a Reading for me? My Question Would go in the General Direction of Ways to improve my mental health and spiritual wellbeing? Hope you have a very nice Weekend :)
Hello! Thank you for the sweet wishes for my weekend, they're very much returned. The reading is all ready for you. If you have questions or anything, feel free to message me again. You can see the reading on my readings blog, here: [x]
Adventures and Groceries!
Because, really, that's all my Wednesdays are.
I have errands I have to run and I need to pick up food, otherwise dinner is going to be waffles and peanut butter. And as tasty as that sounds for one's breakfast, a hearty dinner it is not.
Also may stop by the bookstore, need an idea for a new audiobook, since I'll be finishing the current one I'm reading while I'm off adventuring. Any ideas?
OH! And thank you to upforsomethingbeautiful, she sent me a few prompts for my first week writing. The short story I'll have up by next Monday will be about someone who reads and then sees characters out of the corner of their eyes, stalking them out of the corner of their eyes.
And in fit things, I can still punch things very hard and also I can now hang from my fingertips for 4 minutes straight. I'm not sure what I'm doing with my body at the moment, but that seems par for the course.
Went on a long run this morning.
May have stopped for a donut. Mmm, donuts... Then had a doctors appointment. My heart was feeling funny, so I scheduled one. Nothing really to mention. My blood pressure is a little high, but apparently with all the work outs, my heart rate is a little slower, which is good, given that I was having issues with a weak heart. Hahaha...heart is even bulking... But yeah, doctor prescribed the usual, stay away from caffeine, don't stress myself out, try not to kill myself with the exercise.
So...yeah. Rest of today, I guess I'll do some woodworking and listen to my new audiobook. Thanks to upforsomethingbeautiful I am reading a series I've been putting off, if only because I have so few good sci fi series, I'm listening to the Thursday Next books.
upforsomethingbeautiful replied to your post:Because booze
no way are you drunk, you don’t have any typos in this post. #gotcha
Typos don't appear when I drink. Only perfectly constructed sentences that I stare at over and over and over. And lots of feelings, but that's what that was.
upforsomethingbeautiful replied to your link: Please tell me someone else has read the Gentleman Bastard series by Scott Lynch
Sounds great… Ill google it and treat myself for christmas if i like what I see
The way I was pulled into the series was because a writer I enjoy reading described it as Ocean's 11 in a fantasy setting. I was hooked by that idea and haven't been let down since. I've been reading them as ebooks, if I had physical copies, I'd totally send them to you!

I swear, one of these days I'll get a hang of tumblr and do things like search my tag...
1. Would you rather be blind, deaf, or mute? Mmm, probably mute. I can deal with not talking, I do it often, and I'm pretty sure I could get by with only talking to people by typing things down. 2. What is an album that I should listen to? Why? Heh, I'm the worst person to ask this question. How about this, I think you should listen to Old Man's War by John Scalzi. Amazing book and I think it's actually better as an audiobook. 3. What’s your favorite scent? What memories does it bring about? Burning wood, like, campfire wood. No real reason, just like the smell of it. 4. If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would you choose and why? I'd want to chat with Christopher Hitchens, I read all of his books after he had passed away and I wish I could tell him how much they mean to me. Either him or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and tell him how much his Challenger series kept me on my toes as a kid and try not to tell him how big Sherlock Holmes has gotten since he died... 5. You’re going to die tomorrow. What does your last meal consist of? Ice cream. Tons of it. Either that or steaks, as many as I can eat. Hell, both. Both is good. 6. What did you want to be (when you grew up) when you were a child? Ninja scientist. Research by day, assassin by night. 7. Who was the first band that you saw live? Umm...Nico Vega? 8. If you could kill anyone (without remorse, guilt, or consequence) who would you kill and why? The pope, not the current one, the last one. He's getting away with hiding scandals of child rape by hiding in the Vatican City. I'd do it slowly. 9. Have you ever broken any bones? How? Yes, quite a few of them. I'm clumsy. 10. What was your first pet? What was their name? Rex? He was a mutt. I don't remember much of him. 11. What is your favorite quote? I have two Here is my secret. It is very simple. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eye. -Antoine de Saint Exupéry
What an astonishing thing a book is. It's a flat object made from a tree with flexible parts on which are imprinted lots of funny dark squiggles. But one glance at it and you're inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, an author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other, citizens of distant epochs. Books break the shackles of time. A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic. -Carl Sagan
Do I really have to ask questions? Ugh...I'm so bad at this.
Tell me a dream of yours. Maybe somewhere you'd like to see some day, where you'd like to be in a few years or just the type of person you'd like to become.
What made you start your tumblr?
When was the last time you felt like the world was just right?
A package arrives in the mail, it's a small, disk like object. Attached is a note, "I've finished the teleporter! Hit the button and let's go on an adventure!" I'm suddenly by your side, what do we do?
Has a book recently/ever caused you to feel a strong emotion? Which one? Why?
What makes you happy?
Tell me a story about yourself that lacks context.
Cake or pie?
What fictional character embodies you?
If you could live for a single day at any point in time on earth, when and where would it be and what would you do?
Any book you'd recommend me?
