Wasn’t like it was easy for him to get money – on the count of how irresponsible he was with it. He spent it on some of the most worthless sort of things. Yet, always ask to borrow some more. “ C’mon… How ‘bout I do ye’ a favor or sum sort ? Anythin’ ye heart desires. Don’ have to be a favor – can be like .. a request or sumthin’. Please, lamb ?  ” Apparently he was desperate.

     “you know you could just pay attention to me-” chin held in the palm of his hand, lips drawn into a mischevious little smile. one that he always seemed to have in the presence of the other. “instead of whatever boring thing that you’re doing right now.”

           “There’s some bad shit going on in that alley back there,” he admits to the stranger as he walked by, inkly hands wiping onto the hem of his shirt. Red smears were left in their wake, much like his brush strokes onto the canvas during the day. “If I was you, I’d probably LEAVE.”

when he’d been told he was expected in a meeting he hadn’t expected this guy to show up - especially since he had no idea who he was. or maybe there was some kind of mistake and he was getting it all wrong.

there was a small hum as the young male ran a hand through his hair, eyes slowly blinking to open fully at the brightness of the room. most people had been awake for hours. not only awake but probably working or doing something productive. not just laying in bed and sleeping more than half the day away. only getting up to bring almost half of the food in the house to bed with them. but did it really matter? he had no reason to get up plus he didn’t have a job to go to.

he was being taking care of, right?

jer didn’t even think twice about it- he didn’t even think of it at all, really. but he was already in the living room then across the room without him even noticing. only to plop down in roman’s lap with a little huff of greeting. the smaller male rested his chin on the other’s collar to stare up at him. no words or additional sounds of greetings, just lazy blinks up at him. similar to that of a docile cat.

“what’re you doing?”

of course the only thing to make him break the silence was a question as to why he wasn’t the focus of attention.

“you should stay here with me,” jer whined softly as he rolled onto his stomach, peeking an eye open to watch roman. “how is sitting in an office all day better than having sex?” upirbcrn
