My thoughts exactly!!!Found this book to be relateable in a relationship POV…there was also a line about how the character felt annoyed that everyone assumes she likes someone after having a 5 minute conversation and 100% mood. Just because I had great convo with someone doesn’t mean I like them/wanna kiss them. I mean it’s cool if you do but my entire life everyone’s automatically trying to set me up with people and hinting at relationship and stuff and I’m cool by myself guys…It’ll happen when it happens 🙂 But back to the book….I love how it maintained the same universe as Simon versus the homosapian agenda. Also Becky Albertalli is a very talented author! 😁

1000 years later

I realize I haven't been on here in a while, but I'm reading book titled “The upside of unrequited” and it has reasonated so well with me that I feel like I need to use this platform as an outlet. I am so similar to Molly the main character that it kind of scares me. Her 26 crushes. Never been rejected because she doesn't put herself out there to risk the possibility. The thinking of “what’s my glitch”. It truly haunts me why I am at the age that I am, and have had zero experience in relationships. Why? I know its not because I'm “fat” or “ugly”, because I'm not those things, but I just don't understand what is so wrong with me that I just have never had a boyfriend. One thing you need to know about me is that I have this huge personality. Not to toot my own horn but I’m actually really funny, people tell me that all the time. Am I too funny for my own good? Is it so intimidating?
