VII Foxglove
Duality | Medicine | Poison | Uraziel
Uraziel knew that Solomon would be dead way before he would. He was so fragile, as all humans were.
And he also knew that part of the cause of his death would be himself: directly, if Solomon was killed by a rival, or indirectly, because of the Ring sucking away his energies.
It was the price to be paid for having met: a curious reversal of roles, since usually it was the spirit that became weak with time; now it was the human that was fading.
Uraziel knew all of that; and he knew that Solomon would never stop calling him, despite all his good resolutions. Like a man drinking on his own accord the poison that will kill him, because it was too sweet to stop.
