i’m gonna be referencing this lots in my VN and also in my life so, here’s a very incomplete list of reasons to watch UroJoJo/Vaguely Recalled JoJo:

Instead of getting away from Hol Horse after Avdol’s “death” Kakyoin walks in, karate chops everyone to knock them out, pretends their unconsciousness is death and mourns them all individually
Kakyoin only knows how to drive because he’s using his knowledge of “F-MEGA”. Therefore, whenever someone tries to pass him or the group on the road he executes a spinning attack. This works out really well when one of the drivers turns out to be Captain Falcon
Polnareff’s recurring pose is him offering everyone gum. Sometimes characters in their illustrations are shown blowing bubbles with it, even if it’s not acknowledged at all in the dialogue. Gum is just being passed around constantly
Joseph receives help from Caesar while fighting Nena/Empress
As well as being able to jettison all the armour from Silver Chariot, Polnareff apparently learned how to use this technique for himself, having his clothes explode off his body at will
Instead of defeating Wheel of Fortune the normal way, Jotaro has the brilliant idea of going out and telling stand up comedy to destroy their opponent’s composure with laughter
When Jotaro catches on fire Kakyoin puts it out with a non-emerald Splash. just “Splash”.

Hi guys, sorry it’s been so long since the last update. I’ve been juggling a couple of big video game-related projects for other groups recently, so this blog’s gathered a bit of dust.
A few announcements:
An update for 7th Stand User is in the works. This includes some minor gameplay changes to v2.48b (tweaks to the recently-implemented combo system, retooling of the Bastet and Dragon Question III minigames) as well as typoes and bugfixes based on feedback I’ve received on the previous English versions. Expect it soon.
Since I’ve had my hands full with the aforementioned projects, I’m officially putting UroJoJo on hiatus. I’ll pick it up again when I’m not quite as swamped, but this means that if another translator wants to take the wheel as they’ve done in the past, it’s free game.
