For the fanfic asks: 🌍, 💎, and 🎤!
Fave type of AU to write: I like taking canon and changing one small thing to see where that takes the rest of the universe (see the Cryptid'verse), but AUs in general are fun to write, though I will admit I have a weakness for ones with magic, so most of my AUs involve them still having magic. Bc magic is fun. Also works as a very useful plot device for some people.
Fave trope to write: Is angst a trope? Though, I think a lot of what I write can be classified as hurt/comfort. There's just something entertaining about breaking a character down to find out what they're made of before building them back up again.
Fave line in a fic you wrote: Hmm, I have a lot of lines that I'm proud of, so I'll just pick a few.
From Haunting Memories we have what I personally think is a very entertaining line:
"Oh!" Mimosa still had her nose stuck in the stupid guidebook. "According to the guidebook, the house was build by the Legolant family way back in the fifteen hundreds," she finally looked up from the book, a bright smile on her face "they died from the plague,"
From the Villain'verse (specifically Raised By Hate And Anger) we have:
'It'll be fine,' Captain William had said, 'they won't both you at all. Besides, you need to get out more,' Langris was calling bullshit. The younger knights very much were bothering him, and he didn't need to socialise. He was perfectly fine as he was, it was everyone else that needed to learn to not annoy him.
And from my masterpiece, the Cryptid'verse (We Know Where We Come From) we have:
They'd tried playing nice with the other squads. Tried to get along with them, but that clearly hadn't worked. Time, then, to show the other Magic Knights just what the Black Bulls were capable of.
Finral wasn't stupid, he'd heard the rumours, heard the Noble Realm calling them the monsters in the shadows. They wanted monsters, did they? Then the Black Bulls would show them why they should be scared, they'd give the Noble Realm something to fear. Maybe it would make them think twice before they opened their mouths to tear someone else down.
