Again, a very deep mix of emotions. We were invited to the book launch of Ron Carver’s new book, Waging Peace in Vietnam, which focuses on the GI resistance movement to the Vietnam War. The book highlights a couple of the veterans who are on our trip, it was great seeing them honored for their work to fight the war and militarism. Then I went through the rest of the War Remnants Museum, which I highly suggest if you are in Vietnam. The second floor which examines US war crimes made me sick to my stomach and brought about many tears as I thought about the death and destruction we have caused for so long and are still perpetuating.
