The Vietnamese place we all really liked closed down a few months ago. They posted a notice that a new Thai place was going in, and they hoped their customers would support the new business. Today I got an email for 5% off at the new Thai place, so I decided to check their menu. A fucking egg roll is $7.95. Granted, maybe it's two rolls in the order. But the old Vietnamese website used to say how many rolls came in an order, and the Thai place uses the same website platform, and all it says is "qty: 1". Their menu looks really good, but it's all so fucking expensive. I know restaurants gotta do what they gotta do nowadays, but come on. And they gave me a 5% off coupon. That feels like a slap in the face.
