Ada had kept distance and had been mostly quiet, not knowing what to expect, not to mention trying to save her energies as much as possible during the journey. The bleeding had stopped, but she was still badly wounded and weak, so she was doing her best to keep safe - and perhaps give herself the chance to run when the time came. But when the non-witcher person started to sing while they rested after dinner, she perked up and listened. She hadn't heard someone sing in-ever, perhaps? She knew about it so it must have happened, but she couldn't remember. And soon she was scooting a little closer, and then closer again, until she was less than a foot away, partly hidden behind the trunk of a tree, eyes wide as the last notes hit the air. A small smile had curled her lips as she met the man's eyes -Jaskier, the other had called him - and tried to remember what people were supposed to do: she opened her arms a little, hesitated, and then gave a few uncertain claps.
