Tarn’s gaming facilities matched its reputation, and it was certainly qualified for hosting annual competitions with other cities. There were private training areas and wash racks in addition to public stadiums, serving both broad and local events. Maintenance and medical staff also had their own designated sections available for selfcare or injuries.
Unfortunately, the quantity of interlinking segments and their arrangements based on a range of constructions were not particularly easy to navigate. It was a city within a city, and there were clearer directions for primary public arenas than private ones (although it was helpful in fan management, reducing unwanted distractions). With this in mind, GZ-2 suspected a slender bot that had gained his attention may have gotten turned around, but it was equally possible the non-competitor was looking for someone rather than somewhere specific. He did not bother them... At least, not until someone else had. His silent observation continued, and when he recognized unnecessary aggression toward the stranger, the ice gladiator approached.
“Is harassing those weaker than you one of your training procedures?” his voice remained at a medium volume, yet his tone conveyed the coldest judgement, “What an inappropriate foundation for self-confidence.” Perhaps his size and demeanor intimidated them, perhaps they recognized him and knew a warning was not to be taken lightly, or perhaps it was a combination of both. Whatever the reasons, they did not feel bothering the smaller vehicle was worth challenging him, and they shortly departed with minimal complaint.
Once he was certain they had left (waiting to lunge when your opponent wasn’t paying attention was not unheard of), GZ’s optics focused on the red, blue, and silver vehicle. He noted a complete absence of combat blemishes, which further confirmed his assumption that they were not a sport participant. His expression relaxed slightly, and his tone lost its frosty bite when he asked, “Are you alright?”
