Funny question about vampires and the thing about needing permission to enter a home. so lets says you live in and apartment building with a doorman, does the vampire need perms from the doorman to enter the building and then you to enter the apartment? like are there layers to this >_>???

It’s funny but also kinda interesting to think about at the same time. I suppose it depends on which kind of vampire rules you’re following. Going off of TVD lore is probably the only way it might work.

I haven’t watched the show in forever but i remember that if the building was public property or like was open to many people then a vampire wouldn’t need permission to enter. So even though someone owns the building many people need to enter it to get to their homes. Which makes it more open to the public.

In that instance I don’t think a vampire would need permission to enter the whole building. But they’d definitely need permission to enter the separate apartments bc only one person owns that space so they’d have to ask the owner.

But they wouldn’t need the doorman’s permission in either case unless the doorman owned the building yk lol (funnily enough like Tower of Terror).
